You’ve already taken time to increase awareness of your limiting beliefs/negative self talk. You’ve challenged each of these beliefs with moments where you proved them wrong.
The next step to moving forward in your life is to CHANGE your limiting beliefs. Look at the list you created: your limiting belief and the challenge against them. One by one, go through your list and change your limiting belief into a positive statement. For example, if your limiting belief is “I’m not smart enough to do this” and you CHALLENGED that with “actually, I passed that exam even when I thought I’d fail”, your positive reframe could be “I am entirely capable of learning everything that I need to and more”.
Use that positive reframe EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. you realize your negative talk is voicing its opinion again.
Catch. Challenge. Change. Repeat. Remember, this takes time so be gentle with yourself and continue to stop negative thoughts in their tracks with your positive reframe. Stay consistent, committed, and loving towards yourself and you’ll notice incredible transformations .
