Who are you?
Are you shaped by social pressures and stereotypes?
Do you remember who you were before social media became so prevalent in society?
Or are you the same person?
How have the people around you changed due to social media or have they not changed?
Do you blame social media for people’s engagement or lack there of?
It’s the 21st century where new jobs have been created and social media is a part of our lives whether we want or not. Walking around, it’s hard not to see person with their neck down, staring at a screen created by pixels. We have managed to make our world bigger by interacting with people on the other side of the world but often ignore the people around us.
Physically our bodies are changing, posture is getting worse and joints are suffering due to our phones and the constant staring at them.
How many of our favourite influencers and bloggers are showing their true selves as opposed to a mask that is more attractive?
I encourage you all to think about this and maybe consider what I’ve asked. Personally, I’ve tried to stay the same on social media than in real life but that’s pretty difficult.
