The more times I cover #MakeMusicCHA
, the more I try to catch new artists and different venues all around town. In a lot of ways, it lets me explore Chattanooga and its artists.
One of the good things about taking photos of familiar artists or locations is that you learn how the musicians move and can sometimes predict a moment before it happens, so you're more ready for it. On top of that, scouting locations is helpful because you can explore different angles as well as study where the light sources are at different times of the day... Searching for novel experiences throws all of that out the window but it is challenging and thus rewarding! I definitely encourage everyone to seek out alternative paths. You never know where you'll end up!
